In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Fortunata's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Wilfredo Lugardo; her children, Karen Chavez, Rosa Vicente, Sandra Balbi and Raul Flores; and her siblings, Raquel, Miguel (Eduardo Calderon), Constantina Garcia (Gladys) and Jesus Calderon. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home (596 Belgrove Dr, Kearny, NJ 07032). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
