It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennie Shafer of East Rutherford, New Jersey, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frances Bonfante and Domenick Bonfante; her children, Jean Marie Callandrello, Frances Shafer, Donna Shafer and Donald Shafer, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Ferdinandi, Jenna Abeloe, Gerald Shafer, Joseph Callandrello, Christina Shafer and Domenick Shafer; her great grandchildren, Rino Ferdinandi, Roman Abeloe, Luca Abeloe and Vanessa Ferdinandi; her siblings, Connie DePalma and Nicholas Bonfante; her siblings' children, Donnie DePalma, Marea DePalma, Daniel DePalma, Nicholas Bonfante Jr. and Bobby Bonfante; and her husband Donald Shafer.
