It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J Ahlers of Eatontown, New Jersey, born in Neptune, New Jersey, who passed away on May 3, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Wagner and Jeannette Wagner (Otis); her siblings, Nancy Heinrich, Irene Wagner, Harold and George Wagner; and her husband George H. Ahlers Sr..

She is survived by : her children, George Jr. (Wendy) of Factoryville, PA and Susan Halleran (Michael) of Eatontown; her grandchildren, Sean, Kevin, Heather Halleran and Amy Ahlers; and her niece Barbara Heinrich of Wanamassa.

Prior to retirement she was the Director at the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP) in Long Branch.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Barbara and George's name to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Northern NJ Chapter, 14 Commerce Dr., Suite 301, Cranford, NJ 07016.
