She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas DeMaio and Albertina DeMaio; her husband Joseph Michael Albanese; and her daughters, Maria DeLauro (Christopher) and Donna Albanese-DeMair (Richard). She was also cherished by her six grandchildren.

Adele was a longtime advocate for organ and tissue donation and the NJ Sharing Network after receiving a lifesaving kidney from her daughter 17 years ago.
