He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Marie (Sue). He is survived by: his children, Alexander Nyers, Jr. (Patty) and Pamela Ortalano (Gary); his grandchildren, Alexander John, Danielle and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Alexandra and Penelope.
