She is survived by: her sons, Samuel Kapustin and NJ (Alex Kapustin); and her grandsons, Max Kapustin and Alan Kapustin of Tampa, FL..

Due to ongoing concerns regarding COVID-19, Basya's memorial will be limited to an outdoor service at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
