He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen; and his parents, Tamas Gyantar and Ilona Gyantar. He is survived by: his daughter Margit Braeunig (Peter); his grandchildren, Kathleen Stowell and Daniel Braeunig; his stepdaughter Colleen Roberts; his nephews, Andre Gyantar and Stephen Kanyo; and his niece Clara Kellner. He is also survived by his four great-grandsons.
