He was predeceased by: his father Hyrum. He is survived by: his mother Gloria Hesse of Edison; his siblings, Carey Hesse of Lake Peekskill and Richard Hesse of Piscataway; his nieces, Erika O'Neill (Thomas) and Tara Moran (Kevin); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madelyn, Isabella, Cora, Thomas and Dylan; and his cousin Deborah Flynn.
