She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Cassett Smith and James Smith, Sr.; her siblings, Donna Smith and Michael Smith; her godmother Brenda Wise; and her son-in-law Hassan Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Corrine Smith Jones and Nakia Smith; and her siblings, Kathleen Clark, Stephanie Cropper-Powell, Renee Cassett, James Smith, Jr., Patrick, Marc, Peter and Paul Smith. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
