He is survived by: his wife Ann Alena of Edison; his children, Debbie Czachor of Edison, Dawn Cruz (Hector) of Fords and Donald Alena Jr. of Edison; his grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Justin Cruz, Hector Cruz and Stephanie Bonilla; his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Gabriel, Avery and Caleb; and his sister Carol Bennett (Earl) of Fords. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
