She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Fialk and Josephine Fialk; her husband George Bence; her son Steven Bence; her brothers, Harold, Raymond, Richard and George; and her pet Benji.
She is survived by: her son Don; her daughter-in-law Cindy; her grandchildren, Vincent and Nicole Darpino; and her goddaughter Lyn Keogh (Brendan Keogh). She is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations in Doris's name be made to the Woodbridge Animal Shelter.
