She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Backlund and Tobina Backlund (Knudsen); her husband Edward J. Abell Sr.; and her son Edward J. Abell Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Cecelia Harvey (Donald), Nancy Weir, Sharon Tiernan (John), Cheryl Latoni (Steven), Robert, Charles (Regina) and Raymond (Ibette). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.
