He was predeceased by: his wife Anna; and his siblings, Walter, Stanley, Edward and Jean (Parker).

He is survived by: his children, Karen (Kalanta), Gregory of Edison, Bruce (Margaret) of Colonia, Michele (Johnson), Sondra (Kapinos) and Kris (Tara) of Freehold; his grandchildren, Kevin, Erica and Ian; and his sisters, Harriet (Gockel) of Edison and Carol (Martis) of Brick.
