It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John La Forte (Edison, New Jersey), born in Irvington, New Jersey, who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his wife Roseann La Forte; his daughter Lisa La Forte; his son-in-law Neil Kroncke; his grandson Aiden John Kroncke; his brother Robert La Forte; and his sister-in-law Joan La Forte.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, a private funeral service will be held May 6, 2020 at Higgins & Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home of Westfield followed by a private burial at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside NJ.
