With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Douglas Toppin (Edison, New Jersey), who passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Toppin and Adella Toppin; his siblings, Dorothy, Lester and Freddy; and his daughter Janice Shankle.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his son Joseph Toppin; his grandchildren, Abu Toppin (Leah), Lonnie Barnes (Shawn Hezekiah), Everett Scott Shankle, Janis Shankle-Sevougian and Hope Rojas; his great grandchildren, Jayden Toppin, Layla Toppin, Noah Toppin and Maclovio Morquecho; and his niece Reeda Toppin.
