He was predeceased by: his father Ronald G. Hoey; and his brother Brian M. Hoey. He is survived by: his wife Anna Hoey; his mother Alice E. Hoey; his sisters, Catherine Larson (Jeffrey) and Madeline A. Carroll; his sister-in-law Susan Hoey; his nieces and nephews, Shawna Iazzetta (Anthony), Brian M. Hoey Jr. (Jamie), Alissa Carroll, Jeffrey and Reece Larson; and his great-niece Livianna Iazzetta. He is also survived by many cousins and in-laws.
