He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marguerite Helmsetter and Cornelius Shaffery; his wife Ronda K. Shaffery (Jones); his children, Gregory (Gail) of Metuchen and Katlyn of Edison; his siblings, Mark (Cynthia) of Brick, Matthew (Diane) of East Brunswick and Anne Caruso (late Carmine) of Bayville; his sister-in-law Theresa Licciardi (late Joseph Licciardi); and also Danielle Shaffery.
