He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Smerecki and Mary Smerecki; and his brothers, Edward Jr. and Gary. He is survived by: his wife Mary Smerecki (Veisz); his children, Sharon, Michael Harned, Stephanie and Robert Smerecki Jr.; his grandchildren, Anthony Smerecki, Michael Harned and Enzo Harned; his great grandchild Isabella Harned; and his brother Martin "Beanso" Smerecki (Barbra Smerecki).
