It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria Guerriero of Elmwood Park, New Jersey, who passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michele and Andreana; and her siblings, Saverio, Pasquale, Francesa and Filomena.
She is survived by: her spouse Aniello of Avella; her children, Fiorvante "Frank" (MaryAnne), Filomena Gogel (Ray) and Michael (Marianne); her grandchildren, Aniello (Elizabeth), Marianne, Neil and Steven; her great grandchild Sebastian; and her siblings, Antonio, Michele, Carmela and Lucia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home (274 Market St, Elmwood Park, NJ 07407). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Leo's R. C. Church (342 Market St, Elmwood Park, NJ 07407). An entombment was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery East Hanover (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
