He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thomas and Johanna Thomas (Witte); and his wife Bette (Horstmann). He is survived by: his daughters, Erika, Kristine and Victoria; his grandson John; his brother John; his sister-in-law Carol Horstmann; and his nieces, Karen and Laura.
