She was predeceased by: her husband Fate Cauthen, Jr.; her children, Shirley and William; and her grandchildren, Freddie, Thomas (Spunk), Edward (Pookie) and Angela.

She is survived by: her children, Diane, Thomas (Josie) and Rudolph (Shirley); and her daughter-in-law Michele. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
