He is survived by: his wife Irma Huerta Caro; his children, Carlos Huerta Caro of Fair Lawn, Juan Huerta Caro (Susan) of Wayne and Fabricio Huerta Caro (Gina) of Pompton Lakes; his grandchildren, Samantha Huerta, Leandro Huerta, Abigael Huerta, Christian Huerta Caro and Michael Huerta Caro; and his brother Alfonso Huerta Gomez (Santa Caldas).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home (557 Lafayette Ave, Hawthorne, NJ 07506). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery (22-21 Maple Ave, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410).
