He is survived by: his wife Jane Serpico; his children, Amanda (James Rooney) and John Serpico; his grandchildren, Shane and Morgan; and his siblings, Maria Major (Pat), Joseph (Peggy), James (Nancy) and Thomas (Kris). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
