He was predeceased by: his parents, Steelman Sr. Peterson and Elizabeth Betz Peterson; and his sisters, Caroline Ridgeway and Rosemary Hargrove. He is survived by: his wife Rosalind Lockman Peterson; his daughter Laura Breen (Alex); his stepchildren, Gina Berry (Leamon), Joann Webb (Robert Timmons) and John Webb (Stacey); and his siblings, Steelman "Bo" Peterson Jr., Mary Mensing and Joan Peterson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren.
