It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond Michael Lowrey Sr. (Fanwood, New Jersey), who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lowrey and Catherine Lowrey (Philbin); his former wife Kathleen Lowrey (Doherty); his sister-in-law Anne Kenny; his uncle Lee Lowrey; and his aunt Mary Philbin.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Gee of Brooklyn; his sons, Matthew, Brian, Raymond, Jordan and Declan; his siblings, Rita Thomas (Lowrey) and Patrick Lowrey; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Sullivan, Della Doherty, Jodi Lowrey, Aaron Thomas, George Sullivan, Joseph Doherty, Neil Doherty and Mike Kenney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (155 South Ave, Fanwood, NJ 07023). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church (1571 Martine Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at the Hazelwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully appreciated to St. Jude Children's Hospital, a charity dear to his heart.
