It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ioannis Papaioannou (Fort Lee, New Jersey), who passed away on December 26, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his cousins, Angelo and Kosta; his father-in-law Nicholas; his wife Valerie; his sister Vanda; his mother-in-law Thalia Athans; his sister-in-law Maro Doundoulakis (Jim); and his nieces and nephews, Thalia and James.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
