He is survived by: his wife Uma Anand; his daughter Nina Sharma; his grandchildren, Rajeev Sharma and Jasmine Sharma; and his siblings, Jugal Anand, Chaman Anand, Mohan Anand, Santosh Sahani, Kamla Sethi, Mohini Chadha and Raj Anand.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial (530 High Mountain Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rosedale Cemetery (408 Orange Rd, Montclair, NJ 07042).
