It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois J Marples (Franklin, New Jersey), born in Passaic, New Jersey, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lambert and Matalida Rose (Drost). She is survived by: her husband Ellis Marples; her sons, Edwin (Ellen), Kenneth (Lisa) and Jeffrey Hamler (Dallas); her grandchildren, Rebecca Hauburger (Bill), Desiree, Anthony, Cheyenne, Joseph, Stephen, Richard, Brett, Emilee and Madyson Hamler; her great grandchildren, Tristyn, Julianna and Tyler; and her siblings, Marion (Matt), Dori (Dale), Debbie (Bob), Nancy (Ed), Edgar (Doris) and James (Carol). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and three stepsons.
At the height of the pandemic Lois was hard a work as she quarantined at home and was recently recognized for sewing hundreds of masks for St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson and countless surgical caps for nurses at both Hackettstown and Newton Medical Centers.
