With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Abraham Van Beveren Jr. of Garfield, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Beveren, and Abraham Van Beveren, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Rachel Bak and Abraham Van Beveren, III (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kayla Bak, Dylan Bak and Abraham Van Beveren, IV; and his brother Mark Van Beveren (Patricia).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Di Chiara Funeral Home (300 Main St, Lodi, NJ 07644). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Leo's R. C. Church (324 Market St, Elmwood Park, NJ 07407). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:15 AM at 200 McLean Blvd, Paterson, NJ 07504.
