She was predeceased by: her husband Melchiorre; and her siblings, Giovanna Scimeca and Domenico Benanti. She is survived by: her children, Antonino (Alcira), Michael (Giovanna), Franco (Vivian) and Rosaria Fermo (Frank); her grandchildren, Michael Anthony (Maria), Steven (Nicole), Christina (Christopher), Antonella (Maurizio), Joseph, Christian, Vincent, Marissa (Jacob), Matthew and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Luca, Antonia, Giavanna, Valentina, Michael and Mariella; and her siblings, Vincenzo, Ottavio, Giuseppe Benanti and Carmelina LoBue (Francesco). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
