In the vast expanse of eternity, Karen Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Karen Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her husband John Swistak, Jr.; her son Dylan Swistak; her brothers, Chris Wellins (Katie) and Philip Karecki (Sue); and her brothers-in-law, Joseph Swistak (Cindy) and Anthony Swistak (Toni). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Aloia Funeral Home (180 Harrison Ave, Garfield, NJ 07026). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations for the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, Oakland.
