He was predeceased by: his daughter Danielle Scharff; his parents, Raymond Scharff and Catherine Scharff; his siblings, Gerry, Joseph Scharff and Mary Scharff; his aunt Peggy; and his uncle Charlie Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his daughter Michelle; his brothers, James Scharff (Patti) and Patrick Scharff (Kathleen); his sister-in-law Kathleen Scharff; and his cousins, Michael Watson (Susan), Dennis Watson (Winnie) and John Watson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
