He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Takacs and Margaret Czapf Takacs; and his wife Pamela Maupai Takacs. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Nannette Eberwein (Mike) of Bath; his sister Lillian East (Rick) of Virginia; and his sister-in-law Linda Maupai of New Jersey.
