She was predeceased by: her husband Gerard Hoelzel; and her brother Ludwig Ilk. She is survived by: her son Dr. Donald; her daughter-in-law Dana Hoelzel; her grandson William Hoelzel; and her sister Rita Fredericks. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
