He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Edinger and Ethel L. Edinger (Griffith); his siblings, Ethel Doolan, Beatrice Waiter and John Edinger; his wife Lorraine Edinger (Constant); and his daughters, Carol Birkhead and Linda Hanselmen.
He is survived by : his children, Lorraine E. Serra, Patricia Youngcourt and Carl Edinger, III (Debra); his grandchildren, Robert L. Serra, Jr., Jeffrey C. Serra (Nancy), Denise Wolford (Kelly), Michael J. Serra (Lauren), Lauren D. Higgins (C. G.), Jessica Birkhead, Marie Hollingsead (Doug), Beth Witherspoon (Shane), Chris Hanselmen, Jodie Walsh (Michael), Chas Edinger (Eden) and Kirsten Edinger; and his brother Tom Edinger. He is also survived by his 13 great-grandchildren; his 1 great-great-granddaughter.
