It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Volkland of Hamilton Square, New Jersey, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Volkland and Abby Volkland; and his brother-in-law Gregory Shalayda. He is survived by : his wife Jane Volkland; his daughters, Lindsay Hilosky (John) and Laura Volkland (Jacob Eastin); his granddaughters, Lacie, Blakely, Paisley, Maisie Hilosky and Lilliana Eastin; his siblings, Patricia Shalayda and John Volkland; and his sister-in-law Carol Volkland. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
