It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward James Gentles (Trenton, New Jersey), who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Liz Casale (Bob); his brother-in-law Danny Magnolo; his nephew Patrick Magnolo; his niece Patty Lee Gentles; his parents, Marie Gentles and Eddie Gentles; and his parents-in-law, Grace and Joe Magnolo.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Ann; his sons, Ian, Cole and Ryan; his daughters-in-law, Patricia and Diana; his brother Butch "Buddy" Gentles (Carol); and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Magnolo, Linda Staggs (Rusty) and Dominic Magnolo (Theresa). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and numerous other grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Saul Colonial Home (3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church (4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690). A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Holy Cross Burial Park (840 Cranbury - South River Rd, Monroe Township, NJ 08831).
