He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaetano Pennacchi and Clara Pennacchi (Innocenzi); his son Joseph Pennacchi; and his brother Anthony Pennacchi. He is survived by: his brother Masonry; his pet Sam; his sibling Giacinto "George" Pennacchi; his wife Rose Pennacchi (Giangrasso) of Hamilton; his children, Dr. John Pennacchi of Hamilton and Linda; his son-in-law Robert Tartaglia of Pennington; his grandchildren, Gianna and Luke Tartaglia; and his sisters-in-law, Marguerite Giangrasso and Doris Giangrasso. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
