She was predeceased by: her mother Carrie Sweeny; and her stepfather Frank Sweeny. She is survived by: her pets, Ellie, Leo and Dutchie; her husband Wilmer David Ashton; her children, Marcella Gilby, Barbara Teipik and Richard Ashton (Patricia); her grandchildren, Theresa Gonzalez, Craig Ashton, Barbara Peslin, Rebecca Levondosky (Mark) and Dennis Gilby (Ashly); her stepgrandson Daniel Hoover (Kimberly); and her great grandchildren, Jackie, Joey, Nicky, Robbie, Emmalynn, Tyler and Jaxon. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
