He was predeceased by: his parents, Cheng Fa Mu and Wen Xian Wang; his former wife Yi Ning Zhang (Irene); and his daughter Xi Mu. He is survived by: his wife Ying Xia Chu; his daughters, Ning "Nicole" Muk and Xin Mu-Renger; his son-in-law John Renger; his stepson Chu Fan Yang; his grandchildren, Kenichiro "Ken" Takahashi, Abbigail and Amanda Renger; his sister Xiu Chun Mu; his brother-in-law Yan; his half-brother Xiang Jie Mu; his sister-in-law Jian Lu; and his niece Xing Mu.
