She was predeceased by: her son Felix F. Bermudez III; and her parents, Santiago Robles and Vincenta Robles. She is survived by: her children, Wanda Gomez (Reinaldo), Nelson Maldonado (Valerie), Jackie Crespo, Maria "Yaya" Rodriguez (Pedro) and Alex Morales; her grandchildren, Juan, Yadira, Hector, Stephanie, Marco, Jose, Felix, Yanira, Nelson Jr. and Lourdes; and her siblings, Jose Robles (Carmen), Raul Robles, Luis Robles, Maria Luisa Robles, Rosa Burgos and Yolanda Robles. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
