He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis and Alice; and his siblings, Ethel Pozzi, Eugene Obert, Francis "Butch" Obert and Alice Kirby.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette "Jean"; his children, Jeanette Arcuri (Rich) of Hammonton and Edward J. Obert II (Kim Santa); and his grandchildren, Jessica Jones, Alexandrea Obert, Edward J. Obert III and Neila J. Espin.
