It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen E. Merlo of Hammonton, New Jersey, who passed away on April 23, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Strouse and Doris Strouse; her husband Nicholas J. Merlo; her grandson Lawrence J. Smith; and her pet Maya.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia A. Smith (Larry) and Nicholas J. Merlo, Jr.; her sister Virginia Lanza (Joe); her grandchildren, Kyle Smith (Jesseca) and Nicole Wentz; her great grandchildren, Haley Long (Albert), Brianna Smith, Mia Smith, Ethan Smith and Mackenzie Smith; and her great great grandchild Frankie Long.
