He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Byers and Carolyn Byers; and his sister Beatrice Davis. He is survived by: his daughter Shantay Davis; his siblings, Laverne Carty (Nelson), Sonya Melton (Eddie), Victoria Williams (Morgan), Alex Davis, Anton Byers (Moniqua), Antoinette Thomas (Anthony), McNeil Byers (Tasha Mason) and Angela Byers; and his aunt Cheryl Byers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
