It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie A. Anastasia (Hammonton, New Jersey), born in New Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 8, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Anastasia; her parents, Michael Micklasavage and Anna Micklasavage; and her siblings, Michael, Joseph, Vincent Micklasavage and Anna Williams.

She is survived by: her daughter Maria K. Anastasia of Boise, ID; and her sister Helen Blasko of Tamaqua, PA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family requests donations made to the Joseph F. McCloskey School of Nursing (formerly Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing) 420 S. Jackson St. Pottsville, PA 17901, or to a charity of your choice.
