She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony F. Bertino, Sr.; her mother Carmela "Millie" Valentino; and her siblings, Bill, Richard Valentino and Marion Giberson.

She is survived by: her son Anthony F. Bertino, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Dawn Bertino; her grandsons, Michael and Johnny Bertino; and her sister Jeanne Tratta (Robert). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Donations may be made in Rita's memory to St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish-St. Joseph Church, 226 French St, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
