He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Marie De Causemacker; and his siblings, Doris Baart and George De Causemacker. He is survived by: his sons, Paul De Causemacker (Jude) of Colchester, VT and John De Causemaker (Mary) of Hawthorne; his grandchildren, Kevin De Causemacker (Alli) and Jill De Causemacker; and his great grandchildren, Ella and Lucas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society of St. Anthony's.
