He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gennaro and Mary Gennaro; and his siblings, Anthony Gennaro, Albert Gennaro, Jr., Vincent Gennaro, Jean Konya, Eleanor DePeri and Josephine "Dolly" Buckner.

He is survived by: his sister Nancy Held of Paterson, NJ.. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
