He was predeceased by: his brother Roberto Giannella; and his parents, Nicola Giannella and Gilda Giannella. He is survived by: his daughter Paula Giannella of Hawthorne; his grandchild C. J. Veri; his siblings, Oreste Giannella (Filomena), Joseph Giannella (Clorinda), Paul Giannella, Rosanna Damiani (Franco), Annamaria Alfano (Gaetano), Elma Lembo (Agostino) and Carla Giannella; Filomena Catania. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
