He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cindy Mierop; his children, Laura Messina (Michael) and Joshua Mierop; his grandson Michael Messina, Jr.; and his siblings, Lynn VanEk (Ed), Lois Belle (James) and Jack Mierop. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
